Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked with individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges. One thing I’ve learned is that there’s no single path to recovery, and no one theory or model that can fully capture each person’s experience. At The Winslow, our role is to support each individual in making sense of the challenges they’re facing, uncovering their own strengths, and identifying what they need to move forward.
Before joining The Winslow, I was involved in launching and directing residential addiction treatment centres across Asia and Europe. These experiences gave me valuable insight into what it takes to create a programme, and an environment, that genuinely supports lasting, meaningful change for the people it serves. At the heart of this is providing a space that feels truly respectful, compassionate, and caring.
Being part of building Singapore’s first private residential addiction treatment centre is deeply meaningful to me. My hope is that The Winslow will be a place where people feel safe and empowered to do the hard work of recovery, and where families can trust the care and professionalism of the team supporting them.
