A new era for addiction treatment in Singapore
You’ll be supported by a team with decades of experience in addiction and mental health. People who know what works and what matters.

Our story
The Winslow is the result of years of planning and a long-standing commitment to improving addiction treatment in Singapore and the wider region.
Our founder, Dr Munidasa Winslow, is a pioneer in addiction psychiatry. During his time as Chief of Addiction Medicine at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH), he launched the National Addictions Management Service (NAMS) – Singapore’s first dedicated public service for addiction care. He also helped establish WE CARE Community Services, which continues to support individuals in recovery today.

Over the years, Dr Winslow has worked with thousands of individuals and families. While Singapore’s hospital and outpatient services offer vital support, he saw that there was a need for a different kind of care – one that provided the time, space, and structure needed for deeper, longer-term change.
The Winslow brings that vision to life. We offer high-quality, structured care in a dedicated residential setting. It's a place where people can pause, reflect, and begin building a life that feels more connected and sustainable.

Our approach
Set to open as a Ministry of Health-licensed addiction treatment centre, we offer a structured 16-week programme that includes a residential stay followed by an intensive outpatient programme.
We focus on what truly supports long-term recovery. That means understanding how addiction developed, addressing its impact, and helping people rebuild the foundations of a more stable, connected life.
We look at the whole picture. Not just your addiction symptoms, but your physical health, emotional wellbeing, mental clarity, relationships, and the roles and responsibilities that matter most in your life.

We also work closely with the people around you. With your consent, we involve family and close friends in the treatment process to rebuild trust and lay the groundwork for long-term change.
Our treatment model, The Winslow Method, is shaped by decades of experience and built in collaboration with leading institutions. It blends established clinical practices with newer, research-informed tools and forward-thinking approaches.
We meet each person where they are, support them to move forward, and empower them to take ownership of their recovery.
