I’ve been a psychiatric nurse for over 20 years, but more than that, I see myself as someone who walks alongside people during some of the hardest chapters of their lives.

Nursing isn’t just a job for me. It’s a calling that’s deeply personal. Each person I meet has a story that matters, and it’s a privilege to be part of their journey toward healing.

Over the years, I’ve supported people facing a wide range of mental health challenges, from psychosis and mood disorders to anxiety and addiction. I also trained as a counsellor, and I draw on both my clinical experience and person-centred counselling skills to offer care that’s not only professional but also deeply human. My approach is grounded in compassion, dignity, and the belief that no one is defined by their diagnosis or past.

I believe in caring not just for the body, but also for the mind and soul. To me, healing happens in connection - in spaces where people feel safe, respected, and seen. I do my best to create those spaces every day.

Outside of my clinical work, I’ve had the joy of teaching future nurses as a lecturer, and I continue to volunteer as a counsellor with local community and welfare organisations. I’m also actively involved in missionary work across Southeast Asia. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my wife and discovering new cities together.

Whether it’s in a quiet conversation or simply showing up with presence and care, I believe in second chances, in resilience, and in the quiet strength it takes to begin again.
