I support clients through one-to-one conversations, recovery-focused reflections, and moments of pause and perspective. Sometimes we talk about emotional triggers or difficult patterns. Sometimes we just sit in silence for a moment that doesn’t need fixing. I try to meet each client where they are, with empathy, presence, and the understanding that healing is rarely linear.
My background spans psychology, media, and social impact, with previous roles in programme development, research, and communications. At The Winslow, I also contribute to the creation of recovery tools and written resources. I help shape the language, tone, and content that support clients on their journey. I believe these things matter. How we speak about recovery, and how we invite people into it, can shift shame into self-understanding.
Beyond my training, I bring lived experience into this work. I know what it’s like to struggle with self-awareness, to mask emotion, to hold capability like a shield. That’s why I care deeply about making recovery feel human, not clinical. I want clients to feel understood, not analysed.
Outside of work, I’m a musician and interactive fiction writer, drawn to stories that explore identity, agency, and emotional transformation. These creative practices echo my work in recovery - finding the thread of meaning, even when it’s tangled.
I don’t always have the answers, but I show up with honesty, curiosity, and care. I hold onto the belief that we’re more similar than we are different, and that recovery, while rarely neat, can still be deeply meaningful. My role is to walk alongside clients as they find their own way forward, at their own pace.
